Copper! It’s here, there, everywhere!
I don’t know about you, but I’m absolutely loving the interior design trends that are taking magazines, Pinterest and our homes by storm at the moment. From bold peacock green paint, to eye popping wall paper and simple Scandinavian inspired room sets, there’s so much to be desired. However there is one particular trend that I just can’t get enough of… I’m talking about ‘Copper’. Copper shelves, tables, lights, beds, candle holders, taps, bowls, baths. The list can go on and on, meaning that I just want to smother this glorious metallic material on everything.
But what is it that makes it so desirable? Is it the old school vintage aura it oozes or its simple elegant design? It’s a rare magnificent thing when an interior design trend suits all ages and copper does exactly that. It’s perfect for your chic apartment, your new university room, your farm house and your office – it’s the simplicity which makes it extremely versatile.
But what does this have to do with Ayers and Graces?
Well, it’s all well and good having a fantastically filled copper house, but you’re going to need a fantastic mirror to accentuate its fabulousness and our mirrors (and frames let us not forget) do exactly that! We have something to suit pretty much any interior style – And that’s not just us being biased. For an enhanced vintage appeal in any room, pair your copper accessories with a gold gilt mirror/frame, we’re thinking our square Romeo photo frame or our beautiful Decorative Tuscany Wall Mirror, a perfect added feature to this popular trend.
Check out our large Large ornate gilt frames, our Regency frame is just perfect for this look, of you’re after something a little different our Round Gold Florence mirror would look incredible next to any copper toned furniture. The detail alone is enough to make all your home visitors envious. The Florence mirror is one of my faves, so go on.. make it yours!
Have no fear though, if these mirrors and frames aren’t for you, then I’ve saved the best for last. Are you excited? I know I am. If you’re after a simple, classy, and unique frame then of course our Kiko and Danta styles are for you. Their vintage appearance and unique design, in antique brass, copper or zinc makes them perfect for this trend. I’ve already pinched a couple for myself and could not praise them enough!
